Blogger Stats vs. Google Analytics

Can anyone explain to me why there is such a difference in the stats on my blogspot blogs and the Google analytics on them. When I look at the stats in blogger, there is a large number of page views, but then when I visit Google Analytics, the news is not so good.
Why are they so different?
Thanks, Cluny

I also have the same doubt.. May be Blogger also count bot visit so the number of visit will be high and Googl analytics not count the same..

Blogspot usually calculate your own views and visits on your blog from the same IP. but Google collects the analytics data according search engine algorithm. If you visit your own website on daily basis then you will be considered as returning visitor in the eye Google Analytics but the blogspot collect your own visit as new view. If you don't want blogger to count your own visit in its statistics then you can easily block this feature through your control panel >> dashboard in blogspot.

The major difference in statistics between Google Analytics and Blogger Stats comes from the method they use to track page views and visitors. For more details visit http://jensontaylor.blogspot.in/2012...analytics.html

Because blogpsot show the every types of views on your blog even the page is properly opened or not but analytics doesn't show the page views it shows the unique visitors. With properly opened pages. If one unique visitor is coming and opening 10 pages the visitor ( unique ) is one but page view are 10

Google Analytics filters out a lot of meaningless traffic like bots and search engine crawls. Also, you have to make sure that the code is implemented correctly in all pages. GA can only count pages that have been set up properly.
