Lightbulb Opinions on domain name???

Hey everyone I have decided to buy a .com domain to start a US targeted review website.

I know the domain name does not make a big difference in terms of SEO but I would just like to hear some opinions, I was thinking GadgetsOnline4U.com (My site reviews computers, laptops, digital cameras, external hard drives MP4 players and so on)

I look forward to hearing all of your feedback

Yea I know they do have some effect but good SEO/promotion etc is a lot more important I just wanted to run a few ideas to hear your opinions

I have a few things in mind for example:

GadgetsOnline4U.com
GadgetReviews2u.com
GadgetReviews4U.com
GadgetsWorldOnline.com

If you have any suggestions advice or so on I would love to hear it as I feel feedback on every aspect of a website including the domain is important as its all about building a trustworthy business/website image.

The domain name is cool and also your concept, I would suggest you to go with the same domain. SEO is in your hand what type of promotion you can do to promote your business.

Mhh.... I would go with GadgetReviews4U.com because it is very descriptive. When you stumble upon this site you already know what it's about.

Problem I have is some lil fu**er brought the .com of my domain but then in some ways having a totally different domain could be an advantage so UK and US customers don't get confused where they need to look.

I would say Godaddy is the place to purchase domains from. Even if you plan to sell this site sometime in the future, it's so easy to push the domain to the new owner if they have godaddy.

I use godaddy for all my domains only.

I think we have a thread on where to purchase domains going on right now.

@ snakeair

godaddy are one piece of crap s**t. they close accounts without any notice, has happened to lot of people. i suggest you check out namecheap, they are awesome

@ OP

your idea is really nice and would work out well if you are dedicated enough

try out some flashy name like - geekcorner (taken) sounds cool too

The .com definitely helps. I have private messaged you some suggestions for privacy of course. SEO wise, I think any that includes the business name will work just fine.

Lightbulb

Thank you for all your suggestions I am going to be patient for the first time in my life and wait for a few payments I have on Fiverr.com to clear and then I will make my purchase should be about 6 or 7 days.

I have a few ideas short-listed but when I do make my decision I will of course inform you all of my final choice.

I have never personally used GoDaddy instead I seem to have always purchased of 123-Reg and never had one single problem as of yet.

I also have a few domains with FastHosts as I like to take advantage of domain offers when they arise.

This one sound cool, it's broad and gives you a lot of space for different content. You can also try some variations such as:

GadgetsWorld4u.com
GlobalGadgets4u.com
GadgetGlobalMania.com
GadgetInfoArea.com
etc.

These were all free and available at the time of this post. Good luck

Although I'm not into domain names containing numbers, from those you mentioned, I'd choose this one: GadgetReviews4U.com. If you have other name ideas, without numbers, let me know.

Anyhow, that one looks pretty good and is easy to remember.

I would not be scared to try a .net with a shorter descriptive word or 2 for gadgets. And drop the numbers.
