You really need to be more specific. Twitter was creating using Ruby on Rails and that has nothing to do with anything really. As far as I know Twitter doesn't even utilize Flash.

By the way, personally I don't trust any designers to know anything technical about anything web related, other than what they specialize in. Would you trust your auto mechanic if he said that your interior design in your home was sub-par? Now, if he mentioned that the new design of your site could use some uumph then that's something else, but knowing the ins and outs of technologies I would not trust that information coming from a designer.

Thanks for replying.

I'm getting a website constructed which uses a fair amount of flash. One of the features is to include a twitter feed on the dashboard of the website itself. What i'm told is that "Tweets sent from twitter account are not visible on the flash dashboard" because flash and twitter are not compatible somehow. Sorry I'm not a programmer so this is my understanding. I have to pay these guys so just wondering if it's a performance thing or really a technical problem.

Note these guys are supposedly programmers as well.

Again any advice is appreciated.

Flash is incapable of dynamic content is what they meant and they obviously don't know anything about integrating the two. Enter the RIA (Rich Internet Application; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ion_frameworks).

With using RIA frameworks like Ext JS you can make what you need happen.
