Microsoft AdCenter for Publishers and Yahoo Publisher Network

Hello,

I can't understand why Microsoft and Yahoo are still "waiting" to massive-launch their contextual website ads.

Google's AdSense kicked out company, we had lots of ads on client sites and now we're drooling after something else... problem is, we don't live in the USA and we don't have millions of monthly viewers..

Will Microsoft and Yahoo accept clients from the World? Any rumours about when they will?

AdSense/AdChoices is pretty much the Goliath ruling the web and they get so nasty, kicking us small guys out. Chitika, AdBrite and Bidvertiser are just small fruits in the big business.

I am anxiously waiting to getting an "AdSense" service from Yahoo or Microsoft. As heavy and as powerful as Google's...

There are still rumours of MS buying Yahoo, which could slow the progress of either company building their own network out any faster as they may well be getting combined in the near future.

Unlike Google, both also have their own major content sites/news sites/etc on which they currently focus their ad selling efforts. It is likely more profitable competing with Google on advertising on larger sites than the long tail of medium/small web publishers though. Yes there is money in the long tail - but competition would drive that profit to near zero, and making it not something worth fighting over for the time being.

Moreover - Google doesn't ban sites for no reason. Whatever got a site kicked out of AdSense would likely see the same result from YPN or AdCenter if they got a wider launch anyway though.

I have the same question too. I don't know why they doubt about making their services global. I am sure their revenue will be increased a lot if they make this service global. I don't know what their moderators are doing and why they don't make this money making service global.

I remember i applied to yahoo back in 2005 and i live in the USA. Never got a approval or rejected email back. It seems that Yahoo upper management didn't think there network could bring in a ton of money but Google has made a ton of money.

Yahoo did something recently. http://www.yadvertisingblog.com/blog...re-interclick/

Prolly their services aren't good enough...

Google is the king, they have a huge base of sites scanned, the literally rule the web, almost like Google is the web, so automatized contextual advertising is second nature to them.

Yahoo and MSN prolly can't risk launching a poor service, they rather don't.
I can't imagine what other reason holds them back.

If I were Yahoo, I'd buy Comission Junction, LinkShare, ShareASale, Chitika, AdBrite, etc. and I'd build up a powerful affiliate program that could match AdSense and would certainly rule the pay-per-sale affiliate segment!
