Thanks for the upload, a nice trip down memory lane.

Looking at ebay back in 1999 - i remember when it looked like that. The same with IMDB in 2001 - that's around the time i first started using IMDB.

Amazon still had that archaic design until only a couple of years ago! Guess they felt that people wanted to look at the merchandise and not how pretty or ugly their site was!

Seeing links and images that refer to "NetScape and "Aol 4.0" brings back a a lot of memories! I remember clearly that many sites had the famous HitCounter!! On a side note, one of the things that I do miss from sites back then was the simplicity of it all. Back then sites would not freeze as much nor slow down to a crawl. Also ads were not as common and were not as complex and overbearing as they are now with Rollovers, PopUps and instant ad videos playing loudly and scaring the heck out of me when the audio starts playing!!!

Yeah, Jeff Bezos can afford to buy tankfuls of rocket fuel, but he can't afford to fix that? Seems odd.

It is so much interesting to watch out at this infographic. The internet is going so fast, we can see big change even after 10 years when my father is using the same car and I never feel about it so old.
