(LSI keywords are a fancy way of saying: “synonyms and closely related words”)

you can check on backlinko.com.....where it is perfectly explained

when a search is happening in a Query box the search term is "Car " means google bots will suggest you what you look for in that related words." car services" "car repair" this and all called as Latent semantic search LSI Keywords in SEO Terms.

It is a technique in natural language processing, in particular distributional semantics, of analyzing relationships between a set of documents and the terms they contain by producing a set of concepts related to the documents and terms.

LSA or LSI is based on the principle that words are used in the same contexts tend to have similar meanings. For example, "weight loss" and "lose weight" are related, and it is easy to see why as they contain similar terms. However, with LSI you can also find other keywords like "diet" and so forth that don't contain similar terms, but are still related to the original keyword.

LSI is (Latent Semantic Indexing) are basically keywords that are semantically related to your primary keyword. Contrary to popular belief, they are NOT just synonym or keywords that are similar in meaning.
