Hello Tommy,

I see what you are trying to do.

My eyes were first drawn to the adverts - which isn't great if you are trying to generate natural users and rich original posts. It would make people click back straight away. You need to get peoples trust if you want to grow your forum. Hitting them hard with adds each time they visit isn't going to do that.

I would consider either only having a few on the main page and posting the more 'image ads' further down; or embedding the adds within the threads and just do text adds on the main page if you think adds are that important. Check out some other successful web forum layouts for ideas.

I think you have probably hit the nail on the head with regards to the logo - it does need some work. Perhaps an 'IM' within a star and the words smaller underneath? Consider creating a design contest either here or on another useful forum.

Best of luck.

Best regards,
Andrew.

Hi Dedicated2U, thanks for your honest reviews...I appreciated that...

For an advertising niche, we couldn't say NO with advertising and it is a ruler to measure quality of traffic. But from your reviews, we will consider to limit number of banner ads on the forum.

Adding image ads into thread content is not good idea, it can make annoy for readers thus we used sidebar for advertising.

Of course, the logo will be remade to a better one soon.

Thanks again for your great feedback

Cheers,
