thanks for important replies, but there is absolutely no conflict between Adword and SEO.
Actually by doing proper SEO with landing page we can drastically increase "Quality Score" and hence best conversion rate in Adword campaign.

website traffic generation is very long concept & it is a million $ que which very difficult to answer in forum. For this you need to create proper strategy for free & paid resources like.

SEO, PPC , banner ads & now digital marketing is the rage now these days. For immediate traffic you cant miss the social platforms.

Devise a great content strategy in that niche, be consistent at providing quality and informative content creatively and in a easily understandable manner for the users. Infographics, Quality Content rich videos, ebooks, how to guides, informational posts etc to constantly engage with your users. This will definitely help generate lot of social media traffic and search traffic. Help your users and search engines will definitely reward you wirh rankings.

hello, recently someone had told me that Facebook Ads can generate good amount of traffic.

It can but you have to know how to target your ad's to the right audience and make your ad stand out to get someone to even click on it.

Guess that has to be considered traditional.....
It does work and has been used for years....

2nd choice...educate your client...
And it's been used in more places than the web. Television for example, provides immediate and relevant traffic for brands.

If clients want immediacy, they pay for it. If they want the long, slow hard organic build, they ALSO pay for it, but over time rather than in one big lumped chunk straight to Google, or Facebook or wherever they happen to want to place their advertising to get eyeballs on it.
