Problems with Wordpress

I have installed new version of wordpress 3.9.1 but the problem I can't install new plugins in it. It doesn't have that option, is there another way of installing plugins?

What do you mean there is no way to install plugins?

You installed the self hosted version so you just navigate to the plugin section in your dashboard and upload the plugins .zip file or search the plugin database through your dashboard. If you have no option to install plugins then post a screenshot.

In the left of the Dashboard, you will get options like posts, media, links etc. at plugin option you will get 3 more options "Installed plugins, Add new and Editor". Click on Add new, from here you can add new plugin. I am also using same version of wordpress and there is no issue to install or add new one.

It might be that your new version of wordpress is not installed properly and due to this, you are facing problem.

You I have been using joomla and some old wordpress versions, uploading plugins was always visible but now it is hidden, you have to go through help of right top corner I eventually saw it but I know there are other people who are struggling to see that upload link.
I wish if they can make it more visible like the last versions.

In your admin panel of wordpress you have options for installing plugins in Dashboard. But if it is not visible to you then better is to contact wordpress help center community for help. They will explain you better. :-)

Do you have the plugins sub-menu in your dashboard?

You only need to click "add new" and then simply put the plug in that you want. And click upload.
