My response was to the OP ...lol

Linkwheel - It's a lame tactic that don't work. I don't get why these people all want to find a cheat to rankings when it's simple as hell to rank.

Proper on-site SEO and quality content = top rankings

Absolutely, unequivocally, yes... these Link Wheels are black hat.

They are purposefully and solely built to manipulate the rankings of a website, which is - pretty much - the text book definition of Black Hat (okay, maybe not, but you get the dramatic effect).

It might work for you, for a while, but I wouldn't count on this kind of tactic driving any long-term benefit.

Link Wheel is straight away a black hat SEO practice because this comes under link schemes and manipulating the search engine rankings.
Must read these Google quality guidelines for links

I recommend you focus on content marketing and blogging.

It was an old tactic but today it is no where. Any technique used to manipulate search engine ranking is a black hat so it is not recommended to use it.

Hi, It's just a plan.
but you should try to write unique content everywhere and every blog then it's going to the white hat.

I'm certainly not the best composer of threads around here, but sheesh dude, you should read your posts first before hitting the "Submit reply" button. What you posted makes absolutely no sense, and pretty much looks like you are posting for count.

People should stop spamming the web too but they think those spammy backlinks get rankings...

Deep in the cluster of their mind they know they broke and can't build a business, they know they can't make things work, they know they wasting their time - BUT yet when a real expert comes along and tells them to stop the spamming and just do things the right way, they spam even more...

Go figure! The solution has been told to them over and over a thousand times but they still continue to listen to self proclaimed experts that are just as broke.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but just want to add in Question.

I have read on some other communities that there is nothing as such terms like white hat and black hat.

The only things that are real - SEO methods used as per google's guideline or not.

Can someone please explain about it?

Yes, I know that. I just want to confirm that is black hat and white hat are real terms or SEO people created them for their ease to explain things?

If someone ask me about these terms, should I answer with proper definition spread over internet or just explain as per google guideline?

There are a lot of terms made up in this industry that have nothing to do with Google or any other search engine .... "domain authority" "page authority" "dofollow" "Spam Score" just to name a few....
