Dreamweaver Template and links

I'm using a pop-up navigation menu created in fireworks. If I bring it directly into my web page, all the links work.
see example

When I pull the fireworks navigation into a template and create the page from there the links don't work. Basically, they add /Template/ to each link.

so productions.html becomes Templates/productions.html and doesn't work when I put it on the server.
see example
I can't find in the code where I can get rid of this "Template/" Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
LJ

I can't really say that I found any problems with your pages and that's because the menu is displayed correctly on both pages and there is no such thing as : Template/pageurl" like you stated above.

1.
You made it work and forgot to let us know
2.
You're spamming...(which is not a nice thing to do around here)

So, which one is it??

Still issues with teamplate links

Niether,

I just put the wrong link in. Please look at this

When you roll over the pop-up menu you can see the link as
http://www.jrfisheries.com/Templates/resources.html

In fireworks, I just used resources.html as the link when I set up the pop up menu.

If I bring the firework html directly into the page like I did on the link I had entered in error, then the links work fine (i.e. no /Templates/)

I'd like to be able to use the template form Dreamweaver b/c the site owner will be editing content in Contribute, and it would be nice to "lock down" the navigation, so they don't accidentally mess it up.

Thanks in advance for any help and sorry for the wrong link in the first post.

Lauren

Yeah, now I see it!

Why not edit the links to remove the /Template/ and then upload the page(s) to the server?

Template Editing?

In the template code the links are (resources.html).

Then if I open a page created from the template, I can't edit the code that has been locked down in the template.

Is there a work around for it.

I guess I could try saving the pages in the Tamplates folder, because then the file path would be correct, right?

I ended up recreating the template for other reasons, and when I updated it, the /Template/ was gone from the file paths on the link. Not sure if it was just a glitch or some sequence in the way I created the first template that made it happen.

Thanks for all your help.
