Since I am still "stuffed" from last night's NFL Season Kickoff, I'm just having a bowl of Homestyle Chicken noodle soup with blueberries as a snack.

Oriental fried rice, bit of red peppers, yellow peppers, shallots and a few wonderful spices, with chunks of pan fried chicken. One of my fav "3 minute meals".

Ok, Ok - yes, it was a frozen meal! But, it is one of the truly rare and really tasty ones I've found and tried from Costco.

I hope that was a Brooklyn sized slice.

Now you've got me craving pizza. Guess that will be my dinner.

The slice is about 1/4 of a large pizza (maybe two average size slices), so it's not too filling for lunch. I don't know what type of cheese mix they use (it's not just mozzarella), but it's really good.

How was your din?

That's a Brooklyn slice; meant to be folded in half to eat.

I posted that reply this morning. Pizza for dinner tonight.

You're probably right on that - haven't tried folding. It must be a Canadian thing that our slices are cut smaller. Sometimes we even use knives and forks.

Earlier for lunch today I had 2 sandwiches with slices of turkey with Genoa salami and some garlic mayonnaise.
A little on the salty and unhealthy side of things but it's okay to cheat every once in awhile

I fear that here and now, a week after Turkey Day that I may never eat turkey again. Even a turkey and bacon sandwich does not sound good right now.

I have turkey left overs for maybe two days - hot turkey on toast with a bit of gravy on day one of left overs, and maybe a turkey pot pie on day two (if we have the fixings), but after that, it's gone, no matter what is left over. However, we've been pretty good at getting the right size bird so that it doesn't stretch out to day two.

I usually enjoy about 3 meals; the day, leftover day and then Hot Brown day and that is about all I care to eat.
