How much keyword density do you use in your blog writings?
How much keyword density do you use when writing an article for blog these days?
I read somewhere that something between 5% to 10% is considered good enough, and above that is seen a sspam.

I never approach those numbers. I try to write 1000 word posts. To reach 5-10% would my keyword would be included 50+ times. I couldn't imagine trying to do that. It would look unnatural in my opinion.

Don't worry about keyword density. Natural writing will produce natural keyword density.
Optimise your H1, H2 etc and you will be good to go.

If you write naturally then you should not worry about keyword density. Always try LSI keywords to decrease your keyword density they will impact high in SERP.

@GoodKnight
I too am never able to reach that much. Which is why I asked...
In an article about google panda update I was only able to reach 1.5 without trying, and about 2-2.5% if I tried hard enough, for keywords "google" and "panda"...

You can go for 1-3% of keyword density with some LSI keywords.
Rest depends on your writing style.

Google prefers nice, readable texts. Your text should be well structured and attractively written. Texts with a high keyword density do not read nicely. So, I use 2-3 keyword density in my blog writings.

Yes, that's the right way to go about it. I use Semrush to help me plan my posts & it tells me to include the keyword at least once in title, meta, h1 and body instead of repeating the same keyword over and over.

I use density level in my articles between 1 to 2 percent. It is good and natural thickness for every ranking page. This is my experience.

That much keyword density would be good enough if we were in the 1990s. Here's what an authority source has to say about keyword density https://www.shoutmeloud.com/keyword-density-seo.html

It depends on how long your article is. If you have an article with 300 words then using your keyword 5 times could be way to many times.
Write naturally and don't try and force it. Sometimes you can't help but write it too many times!
I tend to have my keyword appear around 6/7 times in a 1200 word article. Don't forget to add associated keywords though, that is crucial!

Hi) I use about 2 % of keywords found by SERPstat. It's no longer useful to use a bunch of keywords and issues in one article. Just don't forget about H1 H2

Optimization + LSI
The overall optimization of your page content and even page coding is of extreme importance. It should be a well-coded page and the content written should be relevant to the title and headings of the page. This is why LSI are also very important in your content.

keyword density should be not more than 3% because if you are expert in writing then you should be concern one department and that is keyword density
