Which is better for graphic design, Windows or MAC?

Hello folks,
For a long time, I've used my Windows computer to do many graphic works (even complicated works). I'm quite happy with my computer's performance, but many designers say that MAC computers are better for doing graphic design. I've tried it out, and honestly, I don't see any major different between two of them. Did I miss something important with MAC?
So here is my question: Are you using a Windows PC or MAC to do graphic design? And why do you choose it?
Thanks

Hello learn2do2,

On my experience there isn't a solid answer for what is better for computer graphic design.

I have chosen to use a Windows personal computer because of the unlimited possibilities for upgrades. All graphic designer tend to buy big and expensive graphic cards for their computers. In Mac it's harder and more expensive to charge GPU.

On the other hand Apple's Mac computers have a good reputation by many professional. Either designers, music composers and magazine designers. This reputation is not for some special ability that Mac have instead from Windows. The good reputation is based on the systems stability that Mac have. They are more common to see the used by professionals because the tend to less very rare.

Windows PC on the other hand have a bad reputation on blue screens and system crashes. But this depends mainly on the parts used in your pc and of course on the quality of the computer assembly.

hey bro In my opinion mac is good for graphic designing because mac supports many good softwares and also then you will not worried about lag problems because we all know at many place window lag but it also depends on your requirements if you can buy a hifi pc/laptop then it is right
You can go with both because both are good.

I am a graphic designer and blogger. I've used both...they all work but with MAC you get everything to standard. The graphic card is of standard, but that of windows, you'll need to do some upgrading.

Windows or MAC both of this are good for designing. I am using Windows and i don't see any issue. Its totally depend on you which one you wanna use. Mac takes some high costs another windows is some low cost you can use.

I have never used a Mac before and I work in IT for a living. We typically never see these machines come into our building so I never had the chance to turn one on and explore it's features.

Do you think using a Mac is better then a regular PC which has graphic programs installed?

Both Windows and Mac have their own qualities. But Yes .. it is a kind of trend going now that graphic designers are using Mac for their work. I personally like Windows because of the compatibility and its users rate is much higher than that of Mac. We can easily upgrade hardware's to the required level. So.. there are numerous reasons to use Win.

I think it's nothing to do with which OS you're using? IT's which monitor you're using.
Both Windows and Mac are fine./
