If you're only looking to do a few infographics and you want drag-and-drop, then I can recommend canva.com enough. It has done the job for the 4-5 infographics I've made. Plus, it's free.

I use photoshop and illustrator. But these are costly and take some time to learn.

The ultimate tool to design professional infographic design is Adobe Illustrator, because it has multiple options to create a high quality infographic vector design.

Use Adobe Photoshop it will have pen tool and Marquee tool to Design unique infographic.

I moved over to Photoshop some 20 years ago - one of the best decisions that I ever made in the digital world. The plugins were what swayed me. Endless third-party addon possibilities.

There is a learning curve for newbies re photoshop. With someone that knows their way around the software, it would take a day or two, to pass on sufficient basic knowledge to a newbie.

I'd recommend Photoshop for infographics (as well as working with a bought template to make things easier).
