Starbucks? I'd never sleep.

Another minor, but so far better than negative, "rebound" day so far on the markets. S&P has a ways to go before hitting the "3000" mark again.

Got a call from a client this morning - wants a new site. Honestly, I kid not, last year I would be happy for this type of call. This year? I'm a little on the "meh" side.

You build sites? From scratch or with some framework?

Yep the markets are looking better the last time I looked.

Time for a break after a morning of honey-do.

I have about 20 WP themes to draw from. I technically use one mostly because it's reliable, fairly easy to edit and I've had no issues affecting it with PHP or other server software upgrades.

Yes, a good day in the markets.

Taking a golf lesson Friday morning. I've systematically redeveloped a power fade/slice again. Ugh.

I would think your prime golfing season is just a month away as fall is generally more stable than spring.

My big day is to consist of watching caulk dry and maybe filling a few nail holes in the new brickmold.

It's Friday!

Cooling down nicely here. And guess what - it's watering day tomorrow and showers scheduled.

Even though it has rained here it came down so hard and fast it ran off before it soaked in. I am watering the tomato plants daily.

The grass I actually prefer a little on the crunchy side.

August is a good month - nice and warm but not too hot. September can be very good for golf - warm afternoons, but it's a month that usually goes fast. October, well, there might be a week - possibly two at most before I hang up the clubs till I travel early next year.

I did not realize your cool down so quickly. Daytime in Oct is shorts and tees most day here; the evenings can be cool.

Some golfers play into November, or until the courses close. For me, if the weather is still warm in October (and it was a couple years ago) I'll still play. Beyond October - I'll wait for a travel vacation, an indoor practice range or spring.

Twas a hint of chill in the morning air this morning. The Linden trees are leaf dropping like crazy. It won't be long till we have decent weather.

It is what comes after that I do not relish.

think I'm just going to loaf today.

Just a picture perfect day today - sunny, warm, slight breeze and a game of golf with one of my kids.

Loafing is good for the soul.

Sunday was a nice day. Now back to the grind, retured grind, not nearly as heavy as you guys.

Looks like a not good day and possibly week ahead for stocks.

Red day for stocks. Didn't read the fine print.

Trying to plan a trip, some of these room rates are worse than the stock market.

On a happier note I am very pleased with my new keyboard. I have not been happy for the last 8 years or so since my 1985, 84 key, keyboard died. I managed to adapt to an old Gateway I had but then it started sticking and the Dell I used for the last month was a modern POS.

I finally found a buckling spring replacement that feels and sounds like that old IBM monster.

Trips, for the most part, are a great way to get away and decompress.

My PC (desktop) is about 3 years old, and I've just complemented it with a Dell laptop - used laptop, but good enough to do surfing and work when away from the office. Not that I'm in the office much these days.

Another hot one today (30C), then cooling for a couple of days (24C) before heating up again by the weekend. I'm not complaining. Any day's weather that doesn't include the words, snow, ice storm, or even "frost" is a good day.

I built this system in 2012 and as of the current moment have no plans to upgrade the MB or memory. Of course that could change quickly with the unexpected happening.

The rain we had yesterday did nothing except raise the humidity levels.

No heavy lifting but 4 smaller items on today's list.

Getting ready for alarm company arrival tomorrow for upgrades. Can't wait. My current system is in dire need of upgrading. It works, and the house is secure, but the new systems out today are far superior with internet enabled functions, cellular call-out, glass break monitors, motion sensors, video monitoring surveillance notifications and more.

How old was your system to not have glass break or motion monitors?

I personally have mixed emotions about the internet enabled stuff.

The video stuff does have some appeal for me.
