The best way to improve writing is to write.....

Reading will help....not suggesting to copy other writers...
Try reading books or magazines that are NOT related to your site....
Get a feel for the style that other writers use.....again NOT to copy.....

Then use your subject and write as though you are talking to someone...only one person...telling your story...

Speed will come in time....

For writers, they always have a book that they carry whenever they go. I think that makes them to write in a jiffy. I agree with Jim Gillum, read a lot and share it to others. Although, in your first attempts in writing, write something that you are interested with or something that you want to know more about. In this case, you'll not get bored easily. Then if you are ready, change your niche. Write something that you have zero knowledge of. Also, Thanks to snakeair for the nice links...

Writing article is more of a habit that you get into. Its something that your brain learns to like over time.

Writing good does not mean using complicated words that makes reader refer to dictionary every time they read your article.

I will suggest you to read as much you can- may be books, magazines or other author's article(specifically for article marketing) then try to grab different tones used by them. I am not saying start copying them or their style, just take an essence

More of these things will help:
Good research that makes you confident about the topic
Making content structure (an outline of the article) before writing
Practice how to put information into minimum words possible
and proofreading...

Integrate these points in your writing gradually your speed of writing will also improve.

Lightbulb Suggestion against writing software

Dear, I am not suggest you that you must fully depend on writing softwares. But, at-least you can take little bit help with them and maximum reading will really helps you in this way.

Nobody has born learned to write articles. It comes with the time. If you have a big composition of words in your vocabulary, then you can write some quality articles definitely. And the speed will come with the time indeed.

Ok - I've only skimmed, so I'm probably going to be repeating stuff, but...
(I'm a copywriter and author )

First thing's first - you gotta write every day. Seriously. Even if you don't feel like it. You've got to park your butt and write. And the reason you've got to do that is you've got to teach yourself to prioritize writing.
I've always gotten up at least 20 minutes before everyone else and stayed up for hours extra at night to write - even when I was functioning on like two hours of sleep a night sometimes. Because you gotta make it a priority if you want to get better at it.

As for inspiration - I've found that two things work really well for me - freewriting (15 minutes of at the beginning of each day. If that doesn't loosen things up, then I go read the news, or play with Google's wonder wheel.

And I read. Constantly. If I stop writing for more than five minutes and can't get back into it, and I've not got something else 'calling me', then I go off and read the forums.

Hope this helps - I'll see what else I can come up with.

Kai

Hi, all!
I enjoy writing. I wanted to be a great famous writer and my works well liked a lot of people. But I have a serious problem here. Sometimes, when I wanted to write but my mood is not in a state of fun, then I am confused what to write. Sometimes, when I was writing, suddenly ran out of words, loss of ideas, and dead-end how to solve them. Meanwhile, when I finish my writing in the next day, I was not interested anymore, I chose to make new posts, so I often write but rarely solve them. Finally, I did not have any writings that I managed to finish. is there any advice for me?

Once you have a content idea then split the blog post into 3 main parts
1)Intro

2)Body
a)Point 1
b)Point 2

3)Conclusion

This will give you a framework to work on and it is like filling in the right spaces and the work gets done fast with neatly arranged content .

I think writing good isn't a skill, it is a talent. It's about to be developed, but still having no talent it is impossible to develop skills. Maximum - is to become a well-trained seo-writer. who will be best friend of robots, not for human beings.

There are 3 important things you need to keep in mind:

1. Research, research, research (you can never have too many solid facts to pass along to your readers)

2. Be conversational (pretend like you're explaining the subject to a friend over dinner. What would you say? How would you say it?)

3. Proofread carefully (a simple spelling or grammar mistake can ruin your credibility with your readers. If spelling and grammar aren't your strong suit, pay someone to proofread your stuff for you. It's that important.)

Write about what you know or learn about what you write, good content will get you links in many cases.

Begin your article with an intro specifying what this peace is going to be about.

Try to find a unique angle and not just repeat what others are saying.

Spell check your article.

My 2 cents...
