Write Content should be in unique. Don't copy other peoples steps. You have to write your own words.

If your are writing a procedure for a wordpress plugin, then use your own sentence don't user others. Best way to writing on short sentence with bullets and numbering

The thing is, you can write about the same thing like others but using totally different wordings and approach, even though the steps might be the same but at least you have to make it some how unique

I never read other people's articles before writing my own. It's because I don't want to copy their sentences. It's enough to just write it on your own words. Notice this thread: I'm sure there are tons of similar threads on forums like this one or even on this forum! But every time someone creates such thread people write responses in a bil different words (it's a natural process) and that's enough for Google not to consider it as duplicate content.

I think you need to make the difference between copied content and new content value. If you write your posts yourself, it is unlikely that you will type exactly the same content as another existing page. So it will be 0% copied.

However, regarding new content value, writing on a topic that has been covered a million time by others, without bringing new insights, information, tips or trick, or anything distinctive and relevant to the matter does not bring new value. In that case, it is unlikely to rank well against competition or to attract a lot of traffic.

Since you already fully understand the process, I suggest writing it up as if you were explaining it to a friend over a drink... in your own words.

When you get to the actual steps that someone will want to follow, I suggest using a numbered list like campbelljof mentioned.

Use your own words and you will be fine.

Even though the steps are the same the post can still be unique. You got the way the post is structured, images, video, headlines, block-quotes, the intro etc.. all these things can make out to be a completely unique post.

There will inevitably be groups of words, or phrases that are duplicate. I would imagine anything over 10% would register on Google's radar.

Actually, the step for writing this tips will make you duplicated by other. However, you have to make use format such Headline, remarkable, dressing your post, and follow your own word.

Obviously, the steps will be very similar as the process is the same every time. However, what's unique is how you can bring your own perspective and observations to the process. Take time to elaborate as to why a step or process is important. Describe a situation that you had during the install process that caused issues. All this will add to the unique value of your tutorial.

If you don't have your own perspective on this process, then why bother? It'll just be another useless post, covering the same overly detailed niche.

Think about the options that you have. Maybe you could do more illustrations. Maybe you could be funny with your content, lighten it up.

If all else fails - make sure you have a plagiarism detection software that can help you out and rewrite like there's no tomorrow.

The information that you'll be giving will be the same, but your words are going to be different. Think of it this way, you read a story. Now you have to explain that story to your friend. The content is going to be the same but your words will be orignal they will differ from the author.

If you're not an expert of the topic that you're writing about then read about it from one or two websites, and then close the tabs and start writing. If you think you can't write from memory and you want to rephrase what is being said in the original article then don't do it line by line. Do it paragraph by paragraph. In this way you'll be able to come up with your own ideas as well.

Never use same headings or headings in same sequence. That's pretty much it!
