A very quick two keyword Google search turned this HTML code up.

HTML Code:
<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="left">HTML scrolling text... </marquee>
I assume this is what you're looking for. In future, you should maybe put more effort into telling people what you would like to know with specifics.

Don't. Scrolling text is so 1996, I would do css ellipsis and use jquery tipsy to show the full text.

That has been deemed obsolete. Do not use this.

Creating scrolling text with CSS is a little more involved, however, you have a wider range of options available to you.

The following example creates a similar result to the above method, but as you can see, it requires a lot more code. Don't be put off by this though. The following code uses browser prefixes to ensure that the text scrolls correctly in various browsers. These are non-standard, however, until all browsers implement the CSS3 standard, this is a necessary evil if you want your marquees to work cross-browser.

Best to use JavaScript, you can easily get a timer to move a div periodically by adjusting CSS offset. But better to make sure you actually want scrolling text, 99.9% of the time it's bad design.
