For valuable input we are going to need more information.
  1. How big of a site are you starting with?
  2. How big do you plan to become?
  3. Why are you not considering a proper eCommerce solution?

IT's joomla which gave you more flexibility than Drupal and the drupal a way bit less user friendly and you will find less plugins extension for it. Compare like what WordPress is to blogger same is joomla to drupal.

Meanwhile for ecommerce you can go with magento, pestashop, opencart etc.

I believe that Drupal is well suited as a CMS for ecommerce thanks to its features and extensions like Drupal Commerce and e-Commerce. Also Drupal allows for easy implementation of SEO strategy.

Here you can read more about Drupal's advantages in ecommerce scope

HTML, I agree with your response so far. I'd like to also know how much money is the thread creator willing to spend on web hosting per month.

If this website is going to be big or will be big someday, choosing the best webhost with whatever CMS you plan to use is very important. Poor website performance while receiving a lot of traffic can hurt any business profits.

I'm not willing to give the OP a detailed response because I like to know lot more information before I give my suggestion. (FYI, it's a suggestion so thread creator isn't forced to follow it)

Don't pick what the people trust, pick one that's best suited for the type of website you plan to build or run. Once you pick one, then you start to read tutorials online how that one platform works...etc

When comparing between Joomla, Drupal and Craft then Joomla is the best one. But WordPress is better than Joomla. Why don't you use WordPress to design your eCommerce website?

Go for Magento, Even though it is a CMS, it has various extensions and templates design to develop a rich and search engine friendly eCommerce store.

Though WordPress does not require PHP or HTML knowledge unlinke Drupal, Joomla or Typo3 I suggest Wordpres is the best for Content management system.
