60% site traffic Drop after re-indexing to GWT

Hi,

One of my blog is performing good till I re-indexed to Google webmaster tools 8 weeks back. Actually I did because my new posts were not indexing after many days so i decided to reset everything.

Now after 8 weeks, my SERP for for most of the keywords have been dropped and new posts written after re indexing are not even appearing in top 100 serp result.

Can Anyone tell me, when will i regain the traffic and what strategy I should follow to get same kind of traffic which I was getting 8 weeks before.

Please help.

How did you "re-index" and "reset" your blog?

I am not sure about this. Even I faced such problem with my blog. My blog's keyword ranking dropped suddenly, but after 4-5 days I got a higher ranking than the previous one. This has been a trend by Google recently. It not only happened with me, I have heard people mentioning about this in some other forum too.

I don't think, it is due to re-indexing. Google did major changes in its SERP as algorithm updated. It may be reason behind it. Lots of websites lost high ranking and traffic as well. I think, following Google's quality guidelines, designing designing may help you to get previous traffic.

I have an issue with keywords which are not performing after 8 long weeks. My traffic slashed by 60% since I re-indexed to GWT.

I did everything to regain traffic like writing more and more posts, linking old posts, sharing on Social media etc.

I don't know why it is happening with my site. And what other thing shd I follow to establish my site at same level.

It means - de-index and re-index to gwt. Reset is a term used for this.
