Hi,
I'm getting an average of .70 per click, and I make a measly 15-20$ a day.

Unique and useful content is the main key for getting good and repeated visitors to your site. If you are getting good amount of visitors then try to match your ads with your content. The ad should not look like 'ad' but it should look like one of the content of your site. But keep in mind too much blending can ban you. So try to learn more adsense tips everyday, get more visitors, it will boost your revenue.

It depends on no of visiters as well as type of ads displayed by Google on your site (indirectly content of your site).

Don't think about others earnings. You can make lot of money using adsense but you have to do lot of hard things for that. Try to update your site frequently and add new fresh content pages as well as.

More pages mean more visitors. More visitors mean more Clicks. More Clicks mean .. what ?
I wish you all the best

Depends on the topic.

Some topics .50 a click some .05 a click thus the # of clicks required to reach your goal would differ.

That's a question that a majority of people would not get right.

Put it this way if you get $0.03 per click on average it would take 3,3333333... clicks to earn $100

But if you earned $1 per click it would take 100 clicks. Notice the big difference in the amounts. In other woulds it varies depending on your niche, how much you earn per click, if you also have cpm ads on your website, etc.

I could understand that one click can cost $1, but that average monthly rate is that high...i'm not sure. Congrats for everyone who achieved that!

The average amount of money that I have been receiving for the clicks in the adsense ads are in between 10 to 20 cents. It will take way to long for me to reach the payout.

I get on an average 2$ daily from my site. The blog is not worthy enough to earn any cent. Hence discontinued updating the blog. Those who are making 15-20$ per day should really feel happy

I've only had one day where the first 5 or so clicks earned around a dollar and then it fell off after that.

On average I have about 1 day a week where I earn around $0.60 per click and about 4 days per week where I earn between $0.20 adn $0.30 per click.....the remaining, about 2 days per week if my math is correct, I see between $0.40 and $0.60 per click on Adsense.

My niche is home improvements which I don't think is a high revenue ad niche in any media. I have heard that health and finance are higher revenue ad niches.

Anyone have any statistics about hi / low revenue niches?

Google AdWords - Key Words Tool

I found a directional answer to the questions on what topics pay more ad revenue.

I don't know if this has been discussed previously, likely it has since this is a very active forum but I couldn't find a posting on this. Apologies (please don't ban me if repeated else where.....I'm still trying to find my way around here ).

There is a tool called Google AdWords - Keyword Tool which is targeted at those who use Adwords to place Adsense ads (so its meant for the person paying for the ad, not for the person who is receiving ad revenue).

It will show you for any word or phrase several things including the relative amount of competition amongst advertisers for different key words or phrases, the relative search volume the prior month and on average.

My take (no link provided as I'm not sure I can do that yet in this forum) is that from a publisher perspective, use key words that are highly competitive from an advertiser's perspective and that has a relatively high search volume vs other key words.

Am I reading that right?

jdenver, I'll take your measly 15-20$ a day. I've had Adsense for over 3 months and am at $15.09. Lol. Long way to go before the $100 payout.

in my niches (though they are mostly low paying) takes about 800 clicks for every $100. but again, u may have 1 cents clicks and u may have $5 (i had one, once). so it depends how much on average ur niche is "worth".

Good job! Your revenue/click is good and per day money is well.
