You can put links in your status updates on twitter, which will be broadcasted to all the people that currently follow you. If your URL is too long, Twitter will automatically shorten it using the bit.ly service.
Otherwise you can use a URL shortener service such as TinyURL and then put it into your status update.
Hope this helps you.

Well if you're already using facebook then twitter isn't going to be that much of a hassle to you
By simply posting your site's link/URL in your status, you can send them to other twitter members that are following your twits! Of course if you don't have any followers then nobody can see your post. Build credibility first

Try to improve the number of followers in your list. that is more important. And try to post the title and url in 140 words as its the limit set by twitter.

there are number of sites that can automatically directs your updates in your twitter like for example they have put a botton for twitter there. and when you click on it and log on in your twitter account you'll see your updates there.

You can place one link to any website or blog you wish on your profile then tweet a link to a post, article, or video you would like dugg asking your followers to digg you or whatever social bookmarking site that you like.

In order to be successful with Twitter you really need to engage you cannot just toss urls out and expect people to click.

Get a lot of followers and then start posting interesting items linked back to your sites. Makes for great traffic but effects the bounce rate a bit.

Try to make as many as followers you can. And regularly post 2-3 links of your webiste in the update box. Your post will be displayed to all those people who are following you.

twitter is interesting if you have targeted followers. i can see too much noise in twitter with hundreds of uninteresting tweets like: "time for a coffee break" or "on my way to pick up my children from school".
