Right, twitter and facebook are becoming more like marketing tools but not only social networking sites. IMO

After using both - I think twitter is ahead in terms of use for marketing. I know facebook now has facebook ads but I personally use Facebook for my friends and Twitter for my work.

What about everyone else?

I think BOTH can be effective...although, currently I laser focus on Twitter only and have managed to get 4100+ followers in just 1 month!..not bad, eh?

These are good points, Twitter is a very powerful tools. They are improving their api, the only problem at this time is there is a lot of spamming, but ther are doing their best in controlling spam.

Twitter is a powerful social networking tool and there's so many reason to join Twitter.. and I can't think of any reason why NOT to join on Twitter.. =)
