Yes, twitter feed is good. Takes care of automatically tweeting every post I make on the blog !

There are many tools in twitter that you can use in order to succeed and depends on your goal.

If you want to have an active feed in your twitter account put it an RSS feed]
If you want to unfollow those people who doesn't follow you back then use twitter karma
If you want to follow those followers of your competitors then you can use twellow.com in searching your competitors then follow them

Or else find also a tools to increase your followers

And you need an interaction in your followers in order to succeed. Not only promoting your link at all! Good luck!

I actually think that I read somewhere that TwitterFeed is one of the most used applications on Twitter. I use it to send RSS feeds to Twitter, Facebook, and Ping.FM.
