twitter is good for new marketers as getting followers is as easy as following others But In facebook getting fans or Friends is very hard But facebook have many features for marketing.
So both are good but for new marketers twitter is better.

Facebook is better for selling your products and services than Twitter. You can also have PPC in Facebook. I'm not sure how marketing works in Twitter, because there's not much plugins that could cater to promoting your products/services.

I'm on that process and as what I've seen in my Google Analytics, Facebook has a higher visitors than twitter. So I believed that facebook is good for promoting your site. All you need to do is learn the best strategy.

Well, both twitter and facebook are good their places. But facebook got far more good features and interesting applications than twitter.

I agree with most other posts - while Twitter may be easier, Facebook seems more engaging to the end users. If you're only going to do one, I would go with Facebook.

Facebook is good in informative and in a precise manner but twitter still holds the do follow things that could increase more traffic than a facebook fanpage.

but both have each own weaknesses and strength so better use the 2 combination and maintained them.

When it comes to traffic, twitter is one of the fastest way to earn it since you can do it with just one twit and people would visit the site that you provided, only if you capture their attention. While facebook is also good but it takes to much work to do to set up a good fan page for your website.

I also use both! But i think one advantage Facebook has is the advertising. Although it'll cost you a bit, it's effective b/c you can target those whom you want to reach!

With twitter, I think that its too overwhelming with certain people tweeting wayyyyy too many times in a day, some valuable information gets blanketed by them! :/
