I get more traffic from twitter. May be because I have more followers in twitter than in facebook. It is easier to get followers in twitter than in facebook. So twitter gives me more traffic but I think facebook traffic are more targeted.

I get what I need. There are a lot of responses on Facebook every time I post updates. On Twitter, I have thousands of followers but only 20% of those followers account for hits every day. There's a 30% difference with Facebook in terms of getting traffic.

We tend to get more from Facebook, but it depends on the day really, and what's been posted on what networks.

It really depends which strategy you are heavily investing your time and resources in.
For me, it is Facebook because I'm more active on it.

Twitter gives more traffic, but the facebook traffic is targeted. I've never sold a single item to my twitter followers who are more than 7k. But 10 of 100 FB followers/friends are potential customers.

I'm more on getting traffic on facebook. Try creating account that has a good picture and keep on socializing so they might think that you're for real.

The traffic which you get from both depend upon your number of friends/follwers.

but i think Facebook is best.

From my experience, I have more traffic coming from Facebook than Twitter. Since Facebook has groups and fan pages, I have more communities to interact with. The more members these communities have the more traffic I can get. So in this case, I'm not just getting traffic from the number of my friends in my account in Facebook. But I think Twitter is not that uncompetitive against Facebook. Twitter users create Hashtags to group their tweets. They create their own community out of it. So it's just like a "group" in Facebook. Since there are lots of twitter tools now that create twitter search and updates about trending topics in real time such as TweetGrid. Twitter is not that hard to efficiently use.

I get a lot more traffic from facebook. I actually just use my own pages to grow my newly created pages, its far easier than having a bunch of accounts and sending friends requests to another page so you can use that page to promote your sites.

How do you send the request to your friends on your different accounts?
