Twitter’s photo-sharing and uploading service is now available to all users, Twitter has confirmed.

The feature, which made its debut in early June, allows users to add images to their tweets. Users will now find a camera icon on the bottom of the “What’s Happening?” box on Twitter.com. Clicking it will let users select a picture to upload, which they can then preview before sending it to the world. I personally like this new feature. It's easy and simple to use. Your followers can be more enticed to click the links of your tweet if it has an image.

It would be the downfall of other third party twitter photo sharing apps especially yfrog and twitpic. Although twitpic is still owned by twitter, the credits for it's purpose on twitter is not that apparent for users now that twitter has it's own.

The integration with Apple's iOS 5 is intriguing. I have wondered what the future holds for Twitter and this hooking up with Apple represents all kinds of possibilities. Does anybody see Apple acquiring Twitter in the future?

I'm guessing this feature is exciting to a lot of people. But I don't like that it appears as a pop-up as soon as you log in. I think my problem may be that I don't like pop-ups period.

Huh?

I got the popup only 1 time when i logged in for the first time. Twitter was just letting there user's know of a new feature with that popup.

Really? I'm pretty sure I got it more than once...plus it just wasn't closing for some odd reason - maybe it was a glitch...don't get it anymore
