Everyone knows FB is not a search engine but it's a hypothetical question.

I think Facebook should launch search Engine against Google. Because Google will be damage Facebook by Google plus. I prefer facebook search engine if they launch. becuase i want see some bombastic competition between search engines.

Google invented Pagerank. What could Facebook invent that would make there search engine better then Google? Lot's of Google Killers started up and failed in trying to over-through the giant.

I think facebook can show lot of new things , Google copy the fan page idea from facebook, but facebook have own reality. I sure if Facebook take a risk they can make faster search engine and maybe introduce something new for Internet World.

It's about tried and trusted thing !
People are used to Google for searching the internet so I think facebook doesn't stand a chance in that case.
When it comes to social media site Facebook is the one and It has just proved this by sustaining it's position in competition to Google Plus.

I wouldn't be so sure! Facebook is too popular and may exist without a google. There are many information in Facebook and I could stay in Facebook during a day, searching for the info and with the same result as with Google in the end. So, from my experience, I wouldn't say that Facebook couldn't stand

I already using Googleplus. Its awesome! Because Google offers everything I need and most thing's I want out of communicating with people over the net.

If Facebook creates a search engine, the search results will probably not be nearly as good as Google's but surely, some people will stop using Google and prefer to go with Facebook. It was possible for Google to create their own Google+ to rival with Facebook so, it's also possible for Facebook to create its own Facebook search.
