Facebook Vs Google
Hi everyone,
I have a small question for you guys, Suppose if Facebook with its popularity starts a new search engine then which one you prefer Facebook are Google. Whether Facebook's search engine will be successful? |
I think that FB will lose that battle and moreover it will lost the social war with Gplus

Well if that would happen then FB will loose the battle with Google as Google plus is loosing the battle with FB.

The very same question has been asked more than two times.
You should have searched for it before creating a new thread. But anyways, it won't become popular until and unless the majority of internet users depend more on social search and I am saying that because I am assuming that whenever Facebook builds a search engine, it would be based on social search. |

Suppose if Facebook with its popularity starts a new search engine then which one you prefer Facebook are Google. If Facebook will start a search engine, (not a new search engine since facebook is social networking at the very 1st place), of course I will give it a shot, no doubt. Because I wanna experience and observe how facebook can change my search experience compare to Google. Also, just like Google+, when the month it was launched I tried it as well same purpose, to compare if Google is better in making a social networking site like Facebook. I always want to try the new and latest trend as much as I could, but the thing is I can't try the latest gadgets, they are very expensive. I rather watch reviews. LOL Whether Facebook's search engine will be successful? Again, of course I will try still though not so often as I do in using Google. Same reason as above. Thanks. |
Both are good marketing mediums of two different marketing expects one is Godfather of search engines and the other is of social media. Now what I think is that both should concentrate on the area of expertise rather than trying to overcome each other expertises

I can say that Google is the most innovative search engine today and it will be for tomorrow and forever.. If FB is a good social networking site then Google+ is also there and you can see it has gained good popularity in few days.

I dont think so that people will use Facebook search engine instead of Google. Google has built up its strong identity or brand in market. Facebook might be skipped from a person's mind but Google doesn't.

Its depend on what's features facebook share on your search engines. Because net user always want to find better. So if anyone provide better service, then user prefer it.

Well FB can launch a social based search engine but they will never win the battle in
1.G+ has integration with Google products, this feature rules. So much information everywhere, and here i get all-in-one! 2. All FB data can be picked up by google search bots, so i see completely no point in social-based search from FB |
I prefer Google because it is easy and provide unique information, compare then facebook. But It's no doubt FB is king of social media.

I think in the long run Facebook will win.Facebook can become the new Walmart in the industry mainly because they have the platform where people come to when they are bored but people go to Google to search, so if facebook can provide that seaching platform close to Google. I believe Facebook will start taking market search from google
