Opinions on: buyfbinvites.com ? [buy Facebook fans?]
Hello,
Is it worth "buying" Facebook fans for a starting, fresh, new sites that has 2-3 only at the start?
They say these are targeted, real fans, but unsure about it. Hear that there are some people actually generating false members...
Would like to buy 500-1000 fans for start.
Could it be that this is like PPC and these are real people signing up, LIKE-ing my page? And the seller charges me for every signup?

Start out fresh and get fans on your own time. You will know for sure those fans are interested in what you have to offer. Buying fan's is like playing the slot's at the casino's.. You are taking a gamble that those fans will be winners and be active fan's interested in what you have to offer.
My advice is earn the fan's on your own for free and save money. It might take awhile to get a lot of fans but at least you know that you earned those fans with hard work and perhaps it pays off for you in the long run. My thought is that those fans are not real fans and just someone used a automated software to create them. I could be wrong but i prefer to earn new fans by promoting fanpage and providing good stuff to them.

You are absolutely right, I agree with you...
I was just wondering whether these could be real, flesh & blood people. Guess not!
Good sites that are being sold for millions of dollars are primarily sold to the big dogs of the internet, because they have many fans/members.
In today's e-business, members count more than PR, SERPs etc... That's why I though: "wait a minute!..." but then, I guess it's better to earn fans slowly...

Why not? I manage a website such buyfbinvites.com before then sell it at Flippa.
Website that selling fans (real, targeted fans).
Yeah, I didn't send the fans by my self. But I have the trusted supplier who used their "own techniques" to send fans to my clients page. They didn't use any software or automatic bot, even spam. No.
"They are" used manually techniques such sending invitation to the targeted user/people and the rest I let it be their secret Although it requires more time to complete an order.
And I want to say, is it possible our customers (that time) came in and order fans for more than twice if we gave them fake fans?
About buying fans, you may have your own opinions. But I think it's about how you can find the right providers. You may take some "survey" before you buy fans from some providers. How their reputation
There may be other people who ever used "their "services, try to hear what they said. Satisfied or deceived?
And if you can getting fans that you wanted for free, it's better. But you need to consider many things, such time will be taken, and other comparisons.

absolutely right. I have done this method. and these kind of fans never worked out its same as you buying an automated software for your SEO work. earn own your own. I can really help you teaching how to get real fans by promoting your fan page in right way I have done this and it works, but the only problem is I get tired of doing one thing all the time. any way thanks for moderator to make his self available in this critical thread. thanks.

I have used such services and it has worked for me. And yes, they are real people with real profiles. I have no clue how it is done but let me tell you one thing. Most of the people who get added somehow don't know that they liked your page. It kind of happens with them involuntarily. But bottom line is that it works.

You work for that site?
I might consider buying 500-1000 fans. How long will it take for them to arrive?
PPC programs often charge full and then they send you less traffic. Can you guarantee the exact number of fans?
Why I want to do this: I am building a site and because it is so fresh, new, few people will join, if they see I have ZERO fans...
If I get 2-3, 4-5, one by one, it will be slow...
If the potential fans see that I am "liked" by 500-1000, they might think "hey, this site is interesting, so let's join!"

If you want to conduct business with this person, do it offline.
