Facebook delete the G+ button in IPO Video

Just noticed this yesterday and wanted to share it. In Facebook's IPO Video, they've made a mockup of the NY times and its social share/recommend button. But they've deleted the G+ icon, which is clearly there on the real NY Times page.

I thought it was funny but would love to hear what others think

Perhaps Google could sue them for advertising there company. I'm not a lawyer but i know on T.V. sometimes they blurr out the beer people are holding or other products..etc

Also, why would they want to advertise there top competitor? I'd do the same thing if i was doing a screenshot of my search engine rankings. I'd blurr out my competitors because i'm just that evil.

Well they mention Google. The fact is that the video is for presenting to potential advertisers but then distorting the actual workings of the market by pretending there is no competition. Its just not transparent / they obviously want to hide it. It's not about advertising your competition or not.

AFAIK, they hide companies logo's in some tv series' and movies because they haven't received advertising money/permission from them, especially reality TV.
