i want my business to be more social. tips and ideas?

so i'm trying to get back into promoting my site online, getting higher ranks as it's starting to drop since i first made the site and and one area i'd like to dip into is being on social networks, in particular twitter, facebook and g+.

just wanted to ideas to see how you'd suggest we could use these networks in interesting ways?

i have seen companies do this and have been bored by their feed. i'm considering cleaning tips and product reviews so readers have a reason to subscribe/like, but then on top they may get fun things we do etc.

anything we should look into doing given the area we're in?

If you want trying to be more social a suggest to you that you make a new facebook fan page and twitter account. To gain some new likes quick you can advertise your page or make a sweepstake where people have to like and leave and email. On twitter search for people who are interested in your topic and follow them. They might follow you back. I also suggest, that on twitter you do yourself a direct message autoresponder for new twitter followers. In this message ask people to visit your page...

As above, a Facebook page for sure to build your brand, as mentioned facebook ads for cheap and quick traffic, also a giveaway is great however only downside is you will attract many people just out for the freebie, but its a good way to look popular if you have a decent amount of likes and you never know who there friends are who may be interested in your business.

I use socialoomph for twitter auto DM and auto follow. Really helpful for keeping on top of your twitter account.

What has been really effective for me recently is Google+. I have had an account for a while and have used it often in that time, but recently have really started to get results. Google+ has the best set of features/tools out of all the social media sites.

You need to create a social media account on each website for your business website where you share interesting news and updates about your business with your followers, you can use social media website to ask your followers about their feedback on your business or their suggestion for a new product for the next release of a software, you can also create a giveaway specially for your followers to show appreciation that they are following you.
