Clarification on 'Getting Links'

Guys,

Self confessed know it all here, but in reality, I know little about the likes of stumble-upon, reddit etc...

How would you go about getting a link from these sites....?

What do you mean? I don't submit to reddit because my content isn't worthy enough.

I do get traffic from Stumbleupon just from submitting blog posts on there. That's how I get my link's. I'm really not a fan of this social site but submit because it get's me a few hits a day.

thanks for your reply

so if I write a blog on my wordpress blog... do I just submit that link to reddit/stumble upon? Is it that simply?

Does it go through a screening process, and do they let you know IF it has made the cut or not? I take it that this will provide a backlink to my blog, not to my website...

I have the stumble button on my blog and actually as an example, the blog post I just published under an hour ago has got me 3 views from stumble. lol

No screening process for stumble when you submit a link.

Reddit, you need to read there rules: http://www.reddit.com/rules/

You need to create the account and share the content, which is informative, intersting and convince people to like it and share it. You need to read the rules and then you will be able to post. just your content should be best.

Hi,

stumbleupon and reddit are two good sites which really bring traffic in terms of bookmarking of URLs.

Best,

stumbleupon gives a visit on the same day when any link is shared on it and it also provides backlinks if you verify your website on it
