I think its not because those links have nofollow attribute and nofollow links are not helps to increase website keyword ranking on Google. May be this will helps your website to index your keywords and website urls easily in google but this will not helps to increase website ranking.

You don't get a direct benefit from sharing links on G+, but Google claims to use "social cues" when ranking websites, meaning if lots of people are sharing those links on social media, Google will likely give it a boost in rank.

Google+ shares will not help you directly in ranking but it will have an indirect influence in rankings. It would help to get your shared content get viral. Google prefers content shared on Google+ page and considers it more reputable as Google only has access to its own social network resource.

At some point many people think it will be helpful but not for link building. It is helpful sfor social signals and traffic. It is not related to rankings.

Posting keyword rich articles in your g+ pages is said to help ranking. I do an edited version of my blog posts with keywords of course.

I don't think it will help you in rankings, but it will help connecting with your readers.

With connected readers you will get more shares and then that will increase your rankings.

well you can't say NO. because i have heard that google consider about social share count as well.

even google dose not count it having google+ page for your website is worthy since you can add rel author tag with google+ account. it helps to keep your authorship. by the way using social site you can get fair amount of traffic as well.

Google+ and other social media shares may not have direct effect on site's ranking however, they help spread your words and offering which justifies the content of the leading Google to giving the site a higher rank.
