I think facebook group is good for share site. You can easily communicate with all members via chat, email, wall posts, messages, and even create a shared Doc.

Automatically, all users in a Facebook group will see the posts appear in their news feeds which is great for reach and engagement with your activists ,communication experiences much more reach! unlike facebook pages, in groups all members will receive notifications by default whenever another user posts on to the groups wall

If you are looking to get indexed by search engines and further your brand I would say pages.
If you are looking for engagement and would like your community to engage with your posts I think groups would be better.

Thanks Guys for your replies.
With most of your suggestion, I'm assuming Facebook group is better than Facebook page for posts sharing and drive more traffic to my site.

But, Still, I'm waiting for a better explanation about these two.

I recommend to create a Facebook page and Facebook Group,

discuss your posts in group and filter them and post this content to page

Both of them. You need to market in both of them.

Facebook Group

In my experience Facebook page and facebook group both are good but it's all about your audience if your audience keen to come to your website you can drive traffic from either page or group every thing based on the people. I suggest group it reaches quicker no need to increase likes. You can post your link in multiple groups in page can't do that.

I'd recommend staying away from both - Facebook pages have very little organic reach left in them & Facebook groups turn into spam rooms over a period of time. However if you HAD to choose one of them then choose page as you have the option of running Facebook ads later on & when you do, ad clickers need to see some kind of activity on your page to trust you a little bit

Page is the best, in group its very hard to create followers but not in page. So I personally prefer page...I have a page Holistic Doctor Online in which I generated 700 likes within one month without posting any post. Try liker.

Why don't you choose both of them? Take part in a relevant group in your niche and start to discuss in there. It helps you build your brand. If people was curious about you, they will come to your personal facebook to view your profile. Remember to put a link to your site. Of course, you will typically increase your subscriber and might be drive traffic to your site. Talking about Facebook pages. It not only helps you get indexed faster than by search engines but also build your trustworthy.

Yeah, but do you have any examples of what you have said that? I would be interested in seeing it.

It depends. If you can get some really influential members, a group can do a lot better than a page.

Facebook groups are better when you have no audience for your website and because a lot of interaction happens on facebook groups. When you build up audience for your website, then you can share your website's posts on your facebook page to get real traffic.
