Instagram for sure as you can post a lot of peoples on there and network with ton's of people.

Facebook is good but you need to build up followers so when you share images, they will like them, visit your blog or even re-share it.

For facebook.... do a search for "traveler Groups" or mix and match the keyword and join facebook groups. This is how you can get new followers or share your images in there to help get traffic.

I would say Promoting your Travel Business through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+ will be the best platform for it.

Both Facebook ads & Google Adwords are great platforms for promoting travel services.

Facebook

There are a few behavioural options available & these work out great for promoting travel services - frequent travellers, international travellers, people, currently travelling, people with interests in your targeted destinations etc.

AdWords

The usual suspects - search queries like "Thailand Travel Packages" etc.

Can you list free ways incase the thread creator doesn't have money to invest?

Also backup your response with details.

The best ways are to leverage groups on different Social Networks. Also use hashtags on Twitter and Instagram. Then after your in groups add people and post interesting content. #1 thing you have to do is ENGAGE. Too many people forget that a social network is built on engagement.

It's truly not only an easy but also an effective idea!

Why don't you promote your business travel by engaging your audience on different Social Networks, especially Twitter and Instagram on your offline travel?!

I will also say pinterest. Pinterest has pins and boards where you can set up pictures of places that you have been and where you would like to travel to.

For some reason a few posts of mine got over 100 likes on pinterest and I have no clue why... Not complaining over here but trying to replicate that is just hard.

Why are they the most useful for travel business? Please elaborate. "I think..." isn't good enough. "I think...because...." is.

Absolutely this. I'm biased because I've been doing some damage (in a good way) on Pinterest lately, but yes if the category is right (and travel absolutely is, lends itself to interesting & clickable photos) Pinterest can drive some big traffic.
