Twitterís Advanced Search
Have used this to find people in my niche on Twitter which evolved into finding them elsewhere and even meeting in person.

Newsjacking
I have used the trending hashtags to "meet" people on Twitter.

Twitter Marketing Robot
I am not a fan of auto posting but do use Klou to find content my followers would be interested in. I have also gone to AllTop.com to find stuff to share.

Relationship Building
I use notifications to thank people for following. Sometimes there are bot followers you would prefer to block than thank for following.

I personally also don't like auto thanks for following DMs.
