They need your activity in their site by making comments to other stories as well and you should maintain their integrity adhering their TOS, avoid spammy links, unuseful article and self promotion, you have never problem with digg.

I actually joined from such a forum posting. I even dugg it. Perhpas I'm just a troll at heart? Toned down the self promotion early on because I sort of like it and don't really want to get banned.

It was on the DP forum. Always think of Deep Purple when I see DP.

So far I haven't been banned. Even submitted a traffic exchange. Can't get much more promotional than that.

I'm hear again because of the good SEO this thread has. It is in the top for digg forum.

Dig is really giving traffic to my site. Use it and don't abuse if you want traffic on your site.

i have heard that digg banned URL and one of this is my officemate. if you submit URL more than one, it could be possible that you are banned and they see it as spamming. hope other social bookmarking site will not follow digg from banning URL.

Thank you
That's because digg don't allow many posts per day. That is spamming. So you are banned. It happened to one of my friend he posts many stories in a day and his account is banned.

Bottomline, don't let the big bed bugs bite. If you submitted your own posts, to get better results, blame yourself. If your users submitted your posts, and you got banned because of that, who are the losers? The biggest bugs off course.

You could be the next big boy as many people read your posts.
