Is the traffic from StumbleUpon.com Quality Traffic?

I have been using Stumbleupon.com to drive traffic to my website. My question - is the traffic coming from Stumbleupon quality traffic? or is it just people flipping through websites?

I don't know, but that's just a big traffic a particular web page.

A couple of my articles on my Blog got stumbled.

Out of 50-100 hits on each occasion, I did notice a few of them stuck around and wandered through other articles there. Most buggered off after the initial hit, however.

SU is great to get the word of your site out there. Other benefits do seem to be short lived though...

My experience has been that the traffic does not convert well. In my book that means it is not quality traffic.

i get a lot of traffic when i submit to stumble...u can check initial posts at my blog http://bloggingtruths.com

They r quality traffic..i mean they are experienced man..article readers etc but never click on ads or spend much time in your website as always they'll have next site to stumble so generally they r in hurry...

every page i subit to SU that page gets 100 hits & more if niche is blogging...

Quantity traffic? apparently yes, but quality? I highly doubt that... traffic we get from stumbleupon is not targeted enough to convert well... Then again, it may also depend on your niche like what satya said..

Oracle said it all in those few words. There is another thread about SU on how it generates traffic but that's only good for traffic and no sales coming from those traffic.

I think everyone on the internet is just flipping through websites, no matter where they come from. we all just cross our fingers and hope we can lure one in every so often.

do you have the stumbleupon button on your FF browser if you do and stumble page you can easily tell as a regular user that you just 'stumble' on pages you like and if you like that page you will stay

the fact that users 'stumble' on pages is not good traffic it is rare or hard to convert that traffic, the only good thing about SU it is targeted traffic

I use SU and figure that it can't hurt for traffic. Sometimes I feel that people just Stumble into your site and quickly stumble out again, and some people do really find what they need.

u can get more web traffic for ur website through stumbleupon but no guarantee to get quality traffic who helps to generate some revenue for ur business
