I'm glad that DP is having problems.

It serves them right for their stupid infraction system.

They have a welcome forum- you welcome somebody and you get an infraction for it.

You post in the incorrect forum- you get an infraction

I have my own forum, if someone posts in the wrong forum either myself or one of the mods will move it- this is no big deal!

Someone was selling a site the other week and he did not want to publicly post the url and so if interested you had to ask him for the details. I posted something like "please pm me the details, also is this site on a dedicated server", or something like that. I received an infraction and was banned

I do deal with a few people on there, mainly in India and Pakistan. As soon as my ban is lifted I will pm them all and will never return to DP ever again.

Really??so that's why my new created account was trippin. I recently join DP. And when I finally was registered.I was really flipped out why all my options where disabled.After all the effort of going through the sign up.nah mean? pretty much I'm like a ghost.i can't do anything not even open a thread.that's what's up with DP on my view. ya dig?

I wonder what happened. Must be a lot of spammers stormed the forum and ended up overload. I think DP should extend their effort in moderating since I know they have a lot of them.

I experience deleting spammers too alone and it's quite a lot of job.

I DP is attacked by the Banned members. They are so strict in this past months..

I dont understand why they would do such a thing. DP is a very nice trading forum!

Even hackers should understand that it was a good place to make money and there was a lot of technical knowledge, also for them.

DP is under a flood attack. The introduction and general chat sections are filling up with bot posts until the site crashes. The mods are banning the bot accounts but DP needs to disable new user registrations. Otherwise they will keep making new accounts.

It was up a few minutes ago. But that did't last very long.

Yup, been going on since Sunday for me... must be horrible to have to deal with it. It's up now, but now sure how long that will last.

I think that is the guy that attacked us too the last few days. One of the bigger servers of ours that also carried the website of our company, well known on DP, went down for the last 2 days. We managed to have alot of IPs added to blacklists in the network routers at the DC in Amsterdam. The reason I think it is the same guy is because of the way he talks. As well he is of US origin wich we also found in our own logs.

I think that attacker is very dangerous. DP has got very good technicians as well, it cannot be a noob that is taking them on this bad.

I thought the owner was being sued by ebay by fraud. Maybe that's the reason why its having problems.

Actually, from what I hear, they banned the wrong person and he turned around and started attacking DP and possibly having more than himself doing it.

It's tough to keep such a large and popular site online. It takes a lot of resources and money to keep it going.
