Gmail is my friend when it comes to email.Wonderful themes comes along with that.Less spam considering other mail providers.Not much ads also.More options which are less annoying.
Take for example,I have a mail which I move it to spam folder in gmail.Gmail allows me to delete all spams in a single click without even selecting all.But Yahoo asks for confirmation everytime I delete them which is really annoying.

100% Gmail.
I also use it for my Company email under my own domain name along with Google Apps. Very robust, quick and lots of storage.

I did notice that Google have made it a lot more difficult to find the free edition of this and are promoting the premium edition only.

Gmail is the best, it is the most professional looking and has the most features without the obtrusive ads you get from yahoo and hotmail.

I've used all of them and without biasness i can tell you gmail is the best.

I prefer gmail because messages arrives immediately, has huge space compare from the others, and less spam. However, when it comes to chatting, i prefer yahoo.
