Find much help with Windows XP. No issues encountered in terms of hardware and software compatibility.

Vista vs. XP, i guess its really whichever u prefer. Vista seems to be more user friendly and automated, while XP has better program compatability. I currently use vista.

I think that people have a seriously bad case of long term memory loss. When comparing Vista at it's current age to XP when it was at the same age Vista is a much more stable and secure system! plus it has an improved GUI and is MUCH more powerful than XP can ever hope to be. Not to mention, I have not had a single problem with my version Vista Home Premium and I've been using it for about a year now. On XP, during my first year, I had so many problems with it that I gave up and downgraded to windows 98 second edition.

I am a fan of which ever soots me better at the time. I am using XP for instance right now and I find it to more than what I need. Vista seems more solid and nicer looking but I am but a simple man. XP is my way

I can honestly say I have yet to actually use Vista.

Maybe I'll just "skip it", and wait for 7 to come out.

I prefer XP for reliability and stability. But I'm using Vista now, to familiarize myself with the OS and be prepared for Windows 7
