I learned how to use a computer with XP and Vista came as an unexpected thing. Vista is somewhat quirky. I miss XP. *sniffle*

Vista suits me just fine. I'll be upgrading to 7 once I get a new computer but for the most part, Vista works flawlessly for me.

I really like XP better because I have a few programs that will only run on XP since they are not ahead enough to run on Vista, it's kind of frustrating since they are programs that I need for my hobbies like my video camera

XP Of course. VISTA is a troubled OS, I guess it is a source of embarrassment for Microsoft.

I like both of them, if I had to choose to run one of them though it would be Vista myself to be honest, and I'm probably in a minority.

XP is the best OS in opinion because it is the lightest in the ram & works best with almost all softwares. Takes least time to be reinstalled (if got corrupted). Also have various features. But my favorite is the durability factor.

I like win XP .Because win XP take less resources like take small storage of data and provide fast speed for accessing and win xp has high performance.
vista take much configuration related to storage and provide low speed or low performance.

vote xp for sure

if you use win7 then you may not able to install your old dvd writer, printer, scanner, and many softwares.
unless you are going to have everything new

I go for XP not unless Microsoft have fix all the bugs that Vista have. Using XP is the most convenient choice if you want all software to work.
