I wish this is not true, but if it is, then that is very bad. Just to sell some product, if a company develop a virus, then that is not good.

It can be, no doubt that virus is created by human being. Just not sure whether they do it themself or hire people to do it

I think it is quite a likelyhood, I mean Ok there are some d***s out there who will make viruses but think how many people have the no how and how many would be bothered when they have nothing to gain, it's makes sense that the antivirus companies are involved.

I would say this is complete BS and another case of looking for a conspiracy when there isn't 1.
Seriously, to build an entire company on the back of anti-virus would you really take the risk of getting caught if you made your own virus?

Sorry guys, but sometimes there theories and conspiracies are just plain ridiculous.

There are so many 'virus developers' around! Some are probably sponsored by anti-virus companies even no proof is there for sure.

I definetly think so. In fact, I heard of a company doing it a couple years ago.

They don't need to. There's enough people out there doing it on thier own.

Conspiracy theory.

For me the real issue there is some anti-virus programs detects virus even the program is safe. Then on the other hand anti-virus programs don't react on the real virus. I think companies do this to earn more money or it's a part of their marketing strategy.
