I have an iPod Touch 2nd gen, using Twitterific, free version. Free version has an ad every 50 tweets, haven't found it annoying yet. Every time you open the app, it remembers where you left off, so that feature is good. No complaints so far.

Hey peoples
I started using Twitterific - the free version - and I agree, I didn't find the ads annoying. I recently changed over to twitterfon though - and it's a million times better. It gives you a lot more access to other people's profiles etc - and you can directly go to your replies section/or DM's. I haven't checked them all - but so far, I am loving the Twitterfon app.

I used to be on Twitterrific, but I've since embraced the goodness that is Tweetie. Worth the $3!

A few ppl have suggested I move over to the Tweetie-side... I am pretty settled into Twitterfon though.. have you tried it? Has anyone tried both Tweetie and Twitterfon and can fill me in before I splurge the massive $3?
Hehe - it's not the $3.. just wanna know if it's worth the hassle of relearning stuff

That's not what the thread is about. Start posting relevant replies and I'll stop questioning your motive for being here.

OK -- I'm in a "try-it-out" mood. Carter, thanks for the input on Twitterfon. chicgeek -- what do you like with Tweetie? Might try it

I STILL have to post my review, but in summary (for my purposes):
Tweetie > Twitterrific > Twitterfon

Hi GeekChick,
Why do you rate then in that order? I can't wait to read your summary because I'm about to use twitter on my iphone a heck of alot more and want to use the one that works best.
Looking forward to your review.
Thanks for doing the hard yards for us!

iPhone applications are just amazing. Users can do so many things with the apps! Here I got something different in mind. I asked http://objectdevcorp.com/ to create few apps for me and they did a splendid job. And I am thinking of modifying one app only for twitter.
