I'm using desktop for PC and Online Games. Also I used for application purposes like documents, developing a project and surfing internet to get some more information.

I'm still on the desktop that I bought a year or so ago... next time I'll go with a laptop. It'll keep my thighs warm.

Thats laptop at the office and desktop for m at home. I usually use my deskptop to download and I just leave it downloading till I'm home again. That way, not a single second is wasted on my internet connection.

I am using Desktop. I am not a traveling person.I sit in my house or office and do my work. Desktop is enough for me. Now most of them prefer laptops because it is easy to carry.

Yeah. there should be an option for both. I know that Ms Cricket here uses a bunch of laptop and desktop on her work area.
Speaking of work setup, Licky's setup is really awesome!
