I am currently using a desktop.
Why? You ask?
I had no choice! The company that I am working for, provided me a desktop.

Desktop. Well, more like parts spread out over my desktop.
FrankenPuter (a computer built from the bodies of 4 other dead computers) doesn't exist in a traditional case because most of the parts don't fit well together. So I have parts and wires spread out over 25% of my desk space.
I didn't see a voting option for 'Undead Desktop"...

Mobility is one option. I can carry it where ever I go. UV radiation is much less in laptops compared to computer monitors. It is much easier to work on laptops than typing over the full size keyboards.

I also use both. I use my laptop for Images, Web Design, Photo Editing, Slide Shows, and Internet. I have a desktop that I use for all my Sound Engineering, Production, and Mastering. It's a beautiful thing.

I'm using desktop for PC and Online Games. Also I used for application purposes like documents, developing a project and surfing internet to get some more information.
