I am screwed up with my computer. There is always one or the other problem in it, mainly the spywares etc. But I will try to follow the frequency of cleaning recommended by your site.

With animals that sh*t is the worst. I have a cat that sticks huge tufts of hair in my machine. I'm, pretty fortunate that nothing has gummed up the works thus far but still I have to blast it out every week.

To clean my computer,It conclude some steps as follows:
1)cleaning the monitor and keyboard;
2)cleaning software that doesn't need;
3)scanning the computer;
If all the steps can't make the computer run quickly,I will begin to reinstall the system.

You need to perform regular preventive maintenance on your PCs. Clean both hardware and software.

Removing unneeded background services can boost your PC performance.

Very nice link.

There are lot of things that influence the amount of time in which a PC get dusty. I have a friend who lives few meters aways from a very busy main highway. His PC and rooms [close to the road], are extremely dirty. He do not even clean the PC, as he say, it will get dirty in the morning again

Anyway, I clean my PC, I think after 4-5 months.
