Yeah, it is a good thing. Thanks for sharing. But I got this message:"Google Voice is not available in your country. Thanks for visiting Google Voice. We''''re not yet open for users outside the US, but are planning to expand our service to additional countries in the future."

Thanks for sharing it to us. This is the first time I saw it..
Google really is growing and has a lot to offer. Due to the
evolution of our technologies I think it's not impossible to have
the technologies in Iron Man 2. What do you think about it?

Lifehacker posted a good breakdown of what they call, Google Voice Tricks. They're not 'tricks' per say but they are informative.

Thanks for the information about Google voice. It seems like another awesome service offered by Google. I really liked the features of the Google voice. I'm waiting for it to be launched in India.

Google Voice is pretty amazing. I just got an account setup, and I love it. The voice mail transcription software is quite impressive. I wonder if they will sell this ever? I'm in the transcription services industry, and this software would be quite useful to us.

Google Voice Now With Missed Calls Option
Update on Google Voice from the Mashable Blog:
Set Up Missed Call Notifications in Google Voice
Quote:
This weekend, Google announced a new feature for Google Voice: The ability to receive notifications of missed calls in e-mail form. It’s a welcome feature, but as is often the case with new Google application additions, it’s hidden away in the settings menu, and the blog post about it didn’t clearly explain exactly how it works.
It’s easy to turn on the notifications for calls going to your Google Voice() number, but it’s a little more complicated to get the feature working with your “real” mobile number. Here we’ll explain how to set up both.

Continued at: http://mashable.com/2010/09/07/googl...-missed-calls/
The directions are pretty simple if you follow what is in this blog post.

I can't wait for the day Google releases a clean and simple wifi (cell to cell & cell to LL) calling app. I'd be all over a new Droid if they did. No doubt the cell companies wouldn't appreciate having their towers (and ultimately their money) circumvented like that it but millions of customers would (:

Ya. um. That is the entire point of Google Voice. Thanks for clearing that up for us.

I have google voice and I love it. I have actually been using it while I am working instead of my cell just because it's easier than using my speaker phone while typing and I am amazed that it sounds better than my cell's speaker phone too. Go figure. Not to mention that it's free. Oh yeah - I love this... when you get telemarketing calls you can block them and they hear a recording that the phone is disconnected! I'm hoping they will add a fax service to it and I will ditch my ring central!

Overall it is a great service for the price, Free! I recommend it to anyone that wants a alternative to giving out there main number.

I've been using GV since beta, works very well linked to a cell or landline. I've also been using it linked to a VOIP account, and the best integration was always gizmo5...it's a shame they don't let new users into that service.
At least now you can make/receive calls through the google chat.
